My first `gigs` were in nursing homes in Lake County,Illinois,at age 12. I sang and played guitar as part of a duet. The residents of the nursing homes didn`t seem to mind my clumsy chord changes on the guitar. Two things became obvious: I was a better singer than a guitar player, and I discovered I had a natural talent to hear and sing harmony. I loved singing with a melody to find the best note in the chord to create the fullest sound.                                                                                                                                                                                           As an adult, I started singing professionally with " Cracker Jack Pearls, " a female vocal group. We sang songs from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, and wore costumes from the era. Our repertoire included songs by the Andrew Sisters and others from the big band era-- it was all about the harmony. In addition to performing at private parties and shows, "Cracker Jack Pearls" donated two shows a month to nursing home residents in Kenosha and Lake counties.                                                                                                                                     In 2000,I began singing with "Full Tilt " a 70s and 80s rock band, performing lead and support vocals. It has been a great experience for me.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 In 2006, I was invited to join "Bounty Hunter" as a support vocalist. Bounty Hunter is a group of extremely talented musicians who bond musically and personally. I believe it is this combination of talent, personalities and friendships that make us great. I hope you will come out to see our show. You`ll love it.                                                              Carol Pilger
